EgoFest is giving away prizes?  Why yes we are.  But there isn’t even an entry fee, you ask?  We know, but we like you.  EgoFest is put on by filmmakers (and artists) for filmmakers.    So let’s just go with it.  Now please don’t confuse EgoFest with a contest, because we’re really not.  We just wanted to be able to give a little something something in recognition of a job well done.  We gave quite a bit of thought to what those prizes would be and we are happy to announce that now!  The film that is recognized by our judges as “The Best of the Fest” will take home $200.  That should fit nicely into the budget of someone’s new film.  Now, that’s a fine prize, but...  we are very happy to inform you that the winners of every category this year will receive a copy of Jon Reiss’ new book, Think Outside The Box Office.  This is the newest filmmaking tool that all filmmakers will find real value in.  If you haven’t heard of this book yet, you have to go take a look.  For sure.  We’ll wait here...         Cool, huh!
